Rate Adaptation:
Different functions that increase flexibility and versatility by which the pacemaker fits to patient’s style life, coherently to demanded requirements in both activity and rest condition are present.
Rate Decrease Controller
The function Rate Decrease Controller allows to avoid abrupt and symptomatic fall of the intrinsic rate.
Circadian Rithm and Rest Recognition
The functions Circadian Rithm and Rest Recognition establish a physiologic decreasing in pacing frequency during nocturnal period or rest condition.
Post-Exercise Adjustment
The function Post-Exercise Adjustment allows to slow the cardiac rate decreasing after a period with intense activity, for a major chronotropic support.
Anti-Tachicardia functions:
In order to manage irregularities which can occur in the cardiac rhythm, functions able to recognized such situations, to prevent and interrupt them. have seen implemented..
Anti-PMT
The pacemaker mediated tachycardia (PMT) is a condition of ventricular pacing synchronized on retroconducted P waves out of refractory period. The function Anti-PMT is available in MEDICO pacemakers and is able to recognize and interrupt the mediated tachycardia with absolute efficacy.
Reversible Mode Conversion
While the pacemaker is operating in atrium-guided mode, the algorithm Reversible Mode Conversion allows to identify any supraventricular tachycardia and to interrupt atrium-ventricular synchronism that could be dangerous for the patient in condition of high atrial frequency.
Quick Response to PAC
The function Quick Response to Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC) has been designed in order to avoid that atrial rhythm irregularity due to PAC is conducted to the right ventricle.
Watchful Atrial Pacing
The function Watchful Atrial Pacing has been designed to avoid the possibility of atrial tachyarrhythmias due to competitive stimulation in atrium, in case of sensing in refractory period.
Special Functions :
Ejection Check After Ventricular Pacing
The function Ejection Check After Ventricular Pacing verifies stimulation impulse efficacy and, in case of ineffective pacing, increases the energy to restore effective capture.
Ejection Check After Ventricular Sensing
The function Ejection Check After Ventricular Sensing guarantees a safety pacing in case of oversensing.
Recognition of the type of the lead and of the implant date:
The pacemaker is able to recognize the polarity of the lead and stores the implant date.
Automatic switch of polarity from bipolar to unipolar:
In case of impedance values measured out of standard the pacemaker switches automatically pacing and sensing polarity from bipolar to unipolar.
